I study Creative Media & Game Design at Hanze Hogeschool Groningen, split evenly between building the systems and writing the stories that run through them. On the design side, I care about worlds that feel lived-in, characters with layered motivations, and missions that leave players debating their choices long after the credits roll. On the programming side, I like being the one who actually builds it, the gameplay systems, tools, and mechanics that make those worlds work.
I'm a long-time fan of character-driven action games and fiction that raises more questions the moment you get an answer, think BioShock's "Would You Kindly" reveal, the environmental storytelling in Outer Wilds and Hollow Knight, or the slow dread of finally talking to Sovereign in Mass Effect.
When I'm not designing maps or writing dialogue, I'm usually tinkering in Unity, out for a run, or looking after my aquarium.
